PeriFarm Pick Up and Drop Service - Terms and Conditions (Operated by Perril Technologies)

 

1. Introduction and Scope of Service:

1.1. PeriFarm, a service operated under the auspices of Perril Technologies ("Perril Technologies," "we," "us," or "our"), provides a pick-up and drop-off delivery service ("Service") for items tendered by the customer ("Customer," "you," or "your"). This Service encompasses the collection of packages from a designated pick-up location and their subsequent delivery to a specified drop-off location within our designated Service Area.

1.2. The Service Area, as defined and displayed on the PeriFarm website during the booking process, delineates the geographical regions within which PeriFarm operations are conducted.

1.3. Perril Technologies reserves the right to refuse service for any item deemed unsuitable for transport, including but not limited to items that pose a safety risk, are prohibited by law, or are incompatible with our standard handling procedures.

1.4. By utilizing the PeriFarm Service, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

 

2. Definitions:
 

2.1. Package: Any item or items submitted by the Customer for transportation and delivery.

2.2. Delivery: The transportation and transfer of the Package from the designated pick-up location to the designated drop-off location.

2.3. Service Area: The geographical regions within which PeriFarm offers its delivery services, as defined on the PeriFarm website.
 

3. Customer Responsibilities:

3.1. Accurate Information: The Customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete pick-up and drop-off addresses, contact information, and detailed Package descriptions.

3.2. Packaging: The Customer must ensure that Packages are adequately packaged to protect the contents during transit. Perril Technologies shall not be liable for damage resulting from inadequate packaging.

3.3. Availability: The Customer or an authorized representative must be available at the designated pick-up and drop-off times. Delays caused by the Customer's unavailability may result in additional charges.

3.4. Prohibited Items: The Customer shall not tender any prohibited items, including but not limited to hazardous materials, illegal substances, perishable goods requiring specialized temperature control, or items of exceptionally high value (e.g., jewelry, cash).

3.5. Declaration of Value: The Customer is responsible for accurately declaring the value of the Package. Failure to do so may affect liability limitations.

4. PeiFarm Responsibilities:

4.1. Delivery Performance: Perril Technologies shall make commercially reasonable efforts to deliver Packages within the estimated timeframe. However, delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed.

4.2. Liability: Perril Technologies' liability for lost or damaged Packages shall be limited to the lesser of the declared value or a predetermined amount per unit of weight or volume, as specified in our liability schedule.

4.3. Service Modifications: Perril Technologies reserves the right to modify or discontinue any aspect of the Service at its discretion, with or without prior notice.

5. Delivery and Pick-Up Procedures:

5.1. Estimated Delivery Times: Delivery times are provided as estimates and may vary based on factors such as traffic, weather, and operational constraints.

5.2. Proof of Delivery: Delivery shall be deemed complete upon obtaining a signature or electronic confirmation from the recipient at the designated drop-off location.

5.3. Undeliverable Packages: In the event of an undeliverable Package, Perril Technologies shall make reasonable attempts to contact the Customer for further instructions. Additional charges may apply for redelivery or return.

5.4. Pick-Up Readiness: Packages must be ready for pick-up at the scheduled time. Delays caused by the Customer's unpreparedness may result in additional charges.
 

6. Pricing and Payment:

6.1. Pricing Structure: Delivery fees shall be calculated based on factors such as distance, weight, dimensions, and service type, as specified on the PeriFarm website or communicated to the Customer.

6.2. Payment Methods: Perril Technologies accepts payment via [Specify accepted payment methods].

6.3. Payment Terms: Payment shall be due at the time of booking or as otherwise specified.

6.4. Additional Charges: Additional charges may apply for late pick-up/delivery, special handling, redelivery attempts, or other services not included in the standard delivery fee.
 

7. Liability and Insurance:

7.1. Limitation of Liability: Perril Technologies' liability for lost or damaged Packages shall be limited as specified in Section 4.2.

7.2. Insurance Options: Perril Technologies may offer optional insurance coverage for Packages exceeding the standard liability limitations. Details of such insurance options shall be provided upon request.

7.3. Exclusions: Perril Technologies shall not be liable for damage or loss resulting from acts of God, force majeure, customer negligence, improper packaging, or inherent defects in the Package.
 

8. Cancellations and Refunds:

8.1. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made within 10 minutes may be subject to a cancellation fee. i.e 30% of the delivery charge

8.2. Refund Policy: Refunds shall be issued at the sole discretion of Perril Technologies and may be subject to applicable fees.
 

9. Indemnification:

9.1. The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Perril Technologies and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from the Customer's use of the Service.
 

10. Dispute Resolution:

10.1. Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved through [Specify dispute resolution method] in accordance with the laws of Dibrugarh Jurisdiction.
 

11. Amendments:
