Birds Eye Chili (Dhan Jolokiya-ধান জলকীয়া)

Bird's eye chili, also known as **Thai chili** or **peri-peri**, is a small but intensely spicy chili pepper commonly used in Southeast Asian and African cuisines. These chilies are slender, conical, and about 2–4 cm in length. They range in color from green (unripe) to bright red (ripe), with a glossy, smooth skin.
Despite their small size, bird's eye chilies pack a fiery heat due to their high capsaicin content, making them one of the spiciest chili varieties. Along with their heat, they have a distinct, slightly fruity flavor that enhances the taste of many dishes.
Rich in vitamins A and C, bird's eye chilies are known for their health benefits, such as boosting metabolism, improving circulation, and supporting the immune system.
